Braddock always had Community Day and the PCC Braddock SHIP took over as leaders of the event five years ago. This gave the SHIP an opportunity to step up and lead this important mission. Our mission was to give the Braddock community the support and encouragement to unite the community again.

The PCC developed this scholarship to provide financial support to a student(s) of the 15104 zip code for higher education. The scholarship(s) will be awarded to students who wish to increase their marketability in the health field by furthering their education at vocational schools, community colleges, traditional college or universities.

The Wilkins Elementary Fun Day program formerly known as the Caught Being Good Program, was initiated by United Way five years ago. The program, centered at Wilkins Elementary School, focuses on encouraging and rewarding school attendance, class participation and homework completion with the goal of improving academic success and student self-confidence.

Our plan is to do this clean-up day every April. The PCC Braddock SHIP will take the lead on supplies and donations to make the event a success each and every time
